Senior Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

With a development plan geared towards becoming a leader of our Municipal Infrastructure Team in Collingwood.

WhatYoullDo:

Youllplaya central rolein both technical delivery and team leadership including:

• Leading the design and project management of municipal infrastructure projects (roads water wastewater stormwater) from planning through construction

• Take responsibility for design including signing and sealing reports and drawings for municipal infrastructure projects (roads water wastewater stormwater)

• Working alongside our current management team withan active leadership role within the design team

• Supporting proposal development business development and client management activitiesto grow the groups presence and reputation

• Support the growth and development of junior and intermediate team members through coaching guidance and day-to-day collaboration

• Collaborating across disciplines and offices to deliver smart community-focused solutions
• Representing Burnside as a senior client contact especially with municipalities and other public sector clients in the region

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

• Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects including roads water wastewater and stormwater systems.

• Provide hands-on designexpertisewhile overseeing project delivery from proposal through to construction.

• Coordinate andbe responsible forthe designs and workload of staff on the Collingwood Municipal Infrastructure team to support the Manager of Municipal Infrastructure

• Support and mentor junior and intermediate team members fostering growth and technical excellence.

• Review designs/drawings produced by others as part of our Quality Control and Assurance Initiatives

• Review and supportthepreparationof tender specifications

• Build andmaintainstrong client relationships particularly with municipalities and local government staff.
• Drive project delivery excellence andidentifygrowth opportunities for the Collingwood office.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 7 years of relevant experience in municipalinfrastructureengineering preferably in Ontario

• . designation (or eligibility) in Ontario

• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• Desire to grow into a team leadership role with mentorship and succession planning in place;youresomeone who takes initiative buildstrustand inspires collaboration.

Salary Range:$135000 - $165000

The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience skills internal equity and market conditions.
