As a Seasonal Guest Attendant in Housekeeping you play a vital role in delivering the luxury experience that defines Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness comfort and presentation of guest rooms and suites to the highest standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Delivering consistent professional and proactive guest service
• Cleaning and preparing assigned guestrooms to luxury brand standards
• Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining high attention to detail
• Personalizing guest experiences through thoughtful presentation and care
• Ensuring guest privacy and security of belongings at all times
• Following all brand standards policies and procedures
• Reporting maintenance issues promptly and accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of carts storage areas and linen rooms
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with WHMIS standards
• Supporting smooth daily operations through teamwork and flexibility
• Performing additional duties as required

Training Attendance & Performance Expectations

• Complete all required onboarding and housekeeping training within set timelines
• Participate in ongoing skills development and brand standard refreshers
• Maintain consistent attendance punctuality and shift reliability
• Be available for peak operational periods including weekends and holidays
• Meet established standards for room quality productivity and guest satisfaction
• Meet or exceed performance benchmarks related to room quality productivity and guest satisfaction scores

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Regular bending kneeling reaching pushing and pulling
• Use of stairs service elevators and ramps as required
• Repetitive cleaning tasks including bed-making vacuuming and scrubbing
