DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support fullcycle payroll processing including journal entry review quarterly and yearend reconciliation and reporting activities.
• Manage payroll actions across the employee lifecycle including setup for new hires transfers and processing of final pay.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll and timetracking inquiries delivering timely support to employees and crossfunctional partners.
• Administer statutory and compliance requirements such as garnishment orders Employer Health Tax filings Workers Compensation reporting and all related remittances.
• Reconcile payroll remittances to government agencies and local tax authorities and coordinate with Finance AP on payrollrelated payments and reconciliations.
• Support payroll audits reporting needs and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
• Prepare ad hoc payroll reports and perform other payrollrelated tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of PayrollOrg Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or National Payroll Institute Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience with an integrated HR/payroll platform; Workday Payroll experience is an asset.
• Handson experience processing fullcycle multistate US payroll including all yearend activities.
• A diploma or degree in Finance Human Resources Business or related field is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of payrollrelated recordkeeping requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with foundational accounting knowledge are considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and analytical/problemsolving skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure manage deadlines and handle competing priorities.
• Exercises sound judgment and discretion in managing confidential information.

In accordance with pay transparency regulations the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $60k-$70k CAD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed and the final offer may vary based on experience education location and shift. Additionally the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date schedule type and hours worked.
