At Spectro Alloys were looking for a hands-on mechanically skilled leader to take charge of our mobile equipment fleet- everything from forklifts to yard trucks to industrial trailers. If you love diagnosing problems turning a wrench and leading by example this is your moment. This is a key role in plant reliability. Your work directly supports production uptime safety and operational efficiency.

Compensation & Schedule:
- Starting Wage: $28.00/hr ($1.30/hr more for nights)
- RotatingSchedule (on for 3 off for 2 on for 2 off for 3)
- Days: 4:45am-5:00pm / Nights: 4:45pm-5:00am ($1.30 shift differential applies)

What to Expect:
- In this hands-on high-impact role you will manage the maintenance and repair of all rolling stock and mobile machinery
- Maintain and repair forklifts trucks trailers and other yard equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate or perform repairs
- Maintain service schedules and inspection logs for all vehicles
- Ensure safety compliance for mobile equipment
- Source parts and manage repairs (in-house or vendor-coordinated)
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong mechanical background (vehicles trailers hydraulics or industrial equipment)
- 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience
- Ability to inspect diagnose and troubleshoot all kinds of gear
- Comfortable in an industrial environment (heat noise heavy machinery)
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and ownership of your responsibilities
Preferred:
- Welding or fabrication skills
- Experience working on DOT-regulated vehicles
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)
- CDL or forklift certification
