Global Sourcing Intern

Job Description Summary

The Global Sourcing Intern will support the Global Sourcing Manager in managing day-to-day sourcing activities for apparel products. This internship role is ideal for a highly organized detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills who thrives in a fast-paced cross-functional environment and is eager to grow within global sourcing and supply chain operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and maintenance within Product Life Management software
• Support the Global Sourcing Director & Managers with daily communication and coordination with overseas vendors
• Participate in sourcing and cross-functional meetings as needed
• Assist with product cost analysis including reviewing and tracking cost components
• Track follow up and coordinate product samples required by the business
• Communicate and collaborate with the overseas Hong Kong office to support sourcing initiatives
• Assist with general administrative and sourcing-related tasks as required
• Acts as liaison between PD/Design Merchants and Vera Bradley Hong Kong (VBHK) teams
• Partners with PD Design and Merchants to manage key trigger dates/key deliverables and attend Product Review Sessions
• Participates in production updates during cross-functional meetings and weekly review of open issues.
• Other Job responsibilities as assigned

Education and Skills

• Bachelors degree required in Business Management Marketing Supply Chain or related field
• Strong proficiency in MS Office especially in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills highly preferred) with advanced knowledge of Power Point.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced and growing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Positive personality with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
• Willingness to work additional hours as business needs require

Salary Range

$20 25 per hour

Base Pay Range:

Vera Bradleys compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location skills experience and relevant education. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses equity or other incentives if applicable.
