Job Summary
Position Summary...
Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety proper functionality and aesthetics of facilities equipment or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines; inspecting cleaning and repairing facilities equipment or fixtures; observing and documenting signs of wear and tear; gathering capital expense information; recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs; determining replacement needs; and documenting preventive maintenance activities.Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example plumbing electrical carpentry material handling equipment food equipment); inspecting operating or testing facilities equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues; dismantling equipment machines or facilities to access and remove defective parts; diagnose problems utilizing blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary; utilizing hand tools power tools hoists and other equipment; providing prompt response to emergency calls; and documenting repair activities.
Manages work orders maintenance schedules and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example expense vouchers weekly summaries work orders maintenance logs); conducting price comparison of parts and travel related costs; ordering parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders; recording purchases and usage; submitting warranty claims; complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines; ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal state and local regulations; ensuring contractors follow Walmart quality standards safety requirements and meet contract requirements; identifying and reporting deficiencies; unloading and storing equipment; and transporting equipment between facilities.
Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources information and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice feedback and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.
Develops communicates and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers co-workers customers and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates promotes and supports compliance with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining guiding and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.

- Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience or 2 years total work experience in one of the following trades: plumbing electrical material handling equipment or related trade
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities equipment and assets byutilizingmultiple craft skills (for example plumbing electrical carpentry material handling equipment food equipment) and using hand tools power tools and other equipment to complete jobs
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
- Inspectingoperating or testing facilities equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues
- Complete all required training requirements tooperateequipment and tools safely

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule facility season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
