Overview: St. Anthony School a vibrant 370-student Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle is seeking to hire a Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our dedicated faculty team in the Fall 2026. Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

• Plans and delivers engaging high-quality PE lessons that meet or exceed state and diocesan standards for all grade levels from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
• Creates a supportive learning environment that engages students and encourages them to grow in sportsmanship and engage in play that is respectful responsible and reverent including during potential middle school Enrichment class.
• Evaluates and communicates student progress effectively with students parents and administrators
• Utilizes technology as a tool for enhanced teaching and learning
• Differentiates instruction to provide a variety of age-appropriate and grade-level opportunities for students to demonstrate skill development and competency.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills to establish a safe organized and positive learning environment and effectively monitors students to prevent student injuries.
• Maintains PE equipment inventory and storage in a safe orderly condition.
• Effectively and consistently communicates with students colleagues and parents and collaborates with teachers and staff in support of schoolwide events and activities utilizing the gym space or equipment.
• Able to supervise students in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Physical duties may include carrying and moving equipment setting up and taking down PE games as well as bending stooping and running to demonstrate and model PE activities.
• Preferred but not required that the successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic.
• Previous experience teaching PE to elementary or middle school students preferred.
• Holds a current State of Washington teacher certification certificate for physical education or related field or the ability to obtain one.

Salary/Benefits Information: Salary range: $44714 - $88825.Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
