Job Summary
Jim Taylor Ford Lincoln is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Control Technician to join our team at our Ruston LA location. This role helps ensure every vehicle meets quality standards before it is returned to the customer.

The ideal candidate is dependable observant mechanically aware and committed to helping the service department deliver consistent high-quality work. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys catching issues before they become problems supporting the team and helping create a better overall customer experience.

Qualifications
Automotive service experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Basic mechanical understanding and ability to identify concerns
Ability to communicate clearly with technicians and service advisors
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Dependable process-driven and committed to quality

Responsibilities
Perform final quality control inspections on completed vehicles before delivery
Verify repairs were completed properly and vehicles are safe clean and ready for pickup
Road test vehicles as needed to confirm repair quality and vehicle performance
Check warning lights fluid levels basic functions and overall workmanship
Identify incomplete or missed items and communicate them clearly with technicians and service advisors
Help maintain consistency in repair quality and delivery standards
Support a clean organized and safe work environment
Contribute to a productive team-focused service department
