Occupational Therapist
Job Summary
We are growing our #AAA team and seeking an Occupational Therapist living in Canberra Queanbeyan Tuggeranong Gunning Yass Gundaroo Belconnen Jerrabombera & surrounding areas.
In this role you will:
- Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants developmental cognitive emotional psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
- Passionate about communitybased support for people with disability
- Thrives in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
- Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload
