What youll do

 

We are looking for a Lobby Ambassador Intern to join the SLS Barcelona team. Under the guidance of the Front Office and Guest Experience teams you will act as a key point of contact in the lobby delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure and ensuring memorable first and last impressions.

You will:

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure creating a positive and lasting first impression.
  • Maintain a visible and engaging presence in the lobby acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Support valet operations when needed including assisting guests with luggage handling room escorting and providing in-room orientation when required.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities services events and local attractions.
  • Anticipate guest needs and personalize their experience by recognizing preferences and requests.
  • Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints with professionalism and empathy ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out flow by supporting the Front Office team during busy periods.
  • Monitor public areas to ensure cleanliness organization and guest comfort at all times.
  • Stay informed about daily events hotel activities and local recommendations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and follow-up on guest requests.
  • Proactively engage with guests to enhance their overall experience and promote hotel services.

Qualifications :

What we are looking for...

 

  • Youre studying a bachelors or masters degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • You have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months.
  • You have proficient knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Word Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high-level attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages highly valuable.
  • Proactive positive energetic empathetic team player with a passion for hospitality.
  • Previous customer service experience or interest in upscale/luxury hotels is a plus.
  • You make people feel good your team guests and colleagues alike and make a positive impact.
  • You understand and embrace SLS brand values learn quickly and adapt to our unique culture.
  • You are humble open to ideas leave your ego at the door and help get things done.
  • Youre up for doing things differently trying (almost) everything once and joining a team that works hard supports each other and has fun.
