Devops Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Position Purpose:
Our client is a leading technology provider for private banking and wealth management supporting financial institutions across Europe and Asia. They are expanding their Singapore engineering team and looking for DevOps/Platform Engineers to strengthen their CI/CD capabilities and cloud infrastructure.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining the development infrastructure enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- Manage containerized applications using Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible
- Support cloud migration initiatives (on-premise to cloud)
- Implement and manage deployment automation with XL Release and XL Deploy ()
- Maintain artifact repositories (Nexus) and build tools (Maven)
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build and deployment processes
- Monitor system health and implement observability solutions (Splunk Dynatrace)
- Ensure security compliance through code scanning (SonarQube Veracode)
Qualifications :
Technical Requirements:
Required:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD)
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash Python Shell)
- Experience with Linux/UNIX server administration
- Knowledge of Git and branching strategies
- Understanding of infrastructure as code principles
Nice to Have:
- Experience with OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes platforms
- Familiarity with XL Release/XL Deploy ()
- Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk Dynatrace New Relic)
- Exposure to IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) or similar batch schedulers
- Understanding of Java/Spring applications and their deployment requirements
Preferred Background:
- Experience in banking financial services or regulated industries is preferred
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial environments is a plus
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery setups is advantageous
