Job Description

As a 5-axis CNC Miller in the Precision Machining department at NTS Hengelo you work in a modern automated production environment on high-quality components for customers in the semiconductor and analytical industries. You are part of a close-knit team of machining specialists operating daily at the intersection of craftsmanship and technology.

You work with high-end machines including Makino and DMG running 24/7 with robot loading. You are fully responsible for your own 5-axis milling machine and production cell: from setting up and optimizing to monitoring quality and output. Thanks to your expertise and foresight you ensure that your machine achieves maximum operating hours. You plan ahead make adjustments where necessary and actively contribute to process improvement. Ownership accuracy and a quality-oriented mindset are natural to you.

Furthermore your responsibilities include:

• Independently setting up operating and optimizing 5-axis CNC milling machines;

• Being responsible for your own production cell including robot loading and 24/7 output;

• Performing tool changes offsets and process corrections for maximum accuracy;

• Inspecting and measuring products for tolerances down to the micron level;

• Identifying deviations and actively contributing to process optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled and proactive CNC Miller with the following background:

• Completed vocational education in Machining or Metal Technology;

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Miller with demonstrable experience in 5-axis milling;

• Experience in a high-tech production environment with high accuracy requirements;

• You can read technical drawings and independently measure with common measuring tools;

• Experience with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls is a plus;

• You are proactive quality-conscious and take ownership of your machine and production process;

• Good command of the English language in speech and writing due to drawings work instructions and communication in the workplace.

• Salary ranging from 3200 to 4300 gross per month depending on experience and qualifications;
