What you will be doing:
- Design and execute email campaigns that drive engagement conversions and customer lifetime value across segments
- Build automated customer journeys including welcome series nurture campaigns and retention flows that guide users through key touchpoints
- Analyze campaign performance using metrics like open rates click-through rates conversion rates and revenue attribution tooptimizefuture sends
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop email templates subject lines and content that resonate with target audiences
- Manage email databases ensuring data quality segmentation accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations
- Transform customer data and behavioral insights into targeted campaigns that feel personalized and relevant
- Guide A/B testing strategies for subject lines send times content formats and call-to-action placement
- Coordinate with product sales and customer service teams to ensure email communications support broader customer experience goals
- Stay current with email marketing best practices deliverability standards and platform updates tomaintainhigh inbox placement
- Deliver campaigns that improve key metrics such as subscriber growth engagement rates and revenue per email
What you need to be great in this role:
- A track recorddemonstratingsuccessful email marketing campaigns with strong analytical and optimization skills
- Proficiencyin email marketing platforms such as MailchimpKlaviyo HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience with marketing automation including trigger-based campaigns and customer journey mapping
- Understanding of email deliverability compliance requirements (GDPR CAN-SPAM) and inbox placement optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable optimization strategies
- Strong copywriting skills for subject lines email content and calls-to-action that drive engagement
- Experience with customer segmentation personalization and dynamic content strategies
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization and troubleshooting
- Proficiencywith Gen AI tools (ChatGPT Claude ) to enhance email copywriting subject line generation and campaign ideation
- Agentic mindset: ability to break down complex customer journeys systematically andidentifyoptimalengagement strategies
- Experience using AI for content personalization audience segmentation analysis and performance optimization
- Understanding of AI capabilities and limitations in email marketing with strong human oversight for brand consistency
- Ability toleverageAI tools whilemaintainingauthentic brand voice and customer-centric messaging
- Experience with financial services fintech or regulated industries and their compliance requirements
- Knowledge of advanced segmentation strategies and predictive analytics for customer lifetime value
- Experience with cross-channel marketing integration including social SMS and web personalization
- Understanding of email design systems and responsive email development
- Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and CRM integrations
- At the time of thisposting the base salary for this position may range from$85000.00to$95000.00 CAD.Individual compensation varies based onjob relatedfactors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications. The range listed is just onecomponentof OLIVERs total compensation package.
