The Delivery Driver will be reliable and safety-focused operating a box truck to delivery seed products to customers dealers and distribution points throughout Kansas and the surrounding area. This role is hands-on and requires loading and unloading product managing delivery paperwork and representing the company professionally at each stop. Most days will include one or more delivery routes with multiple stops.
This is an important role in ensuring our customers receive the right product on time and in good condition.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a company-owned box truck to deliver seed products to multiple locations per day
Load and unload seed pallets bags or boxes using pallet jacks lift gates or by hand as required
Verify delivery contents against shipping documents and obtain customer signatures as needed
Plan and follow assigned delivery routes across Nebraska and Kansas
Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Communicate delivery issues delays or discrepancies to the operations team
Maintain a clean organized and professional vehicle at all times
Follow all DOT safety and company policies
Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers growers and dealers
Assist with light warehouse or staging work when not on delivery routes as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate a box truck (CDL required)
Ability to lift carry and move products weighing up to 5075 lbs
Comfortable with physical hands-on work in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
Dependable punctual and able to work independently
Basic ability to use a smartphone or tablet for routing communication or documentation
Work Environment and Schedule
Full-time or Part-time primarily weekday role; some seasonal overtime may be required during peak periods
Daily driving with multiple stops
Combination of driving warehouse and outdoor work
Exposure to seasonal weather conditions typical of the Midwest
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout the workday
Ability to safely load and unload product from a box truck
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
Ability to pass drug screen
