Field Service Pump Mechanic

Seeking a Field Service Technician with pump experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Anaheim CA.

Pay: $40 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Repair fabricate install and remove a variety of centrifugal gear diaphragm and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment both in-shop and in the field; also system troubleshooting field alignment and equipment start-up maintain company vehicles and shop equipment accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.
• Responsible to complete all tasks from installation startup scheduled maintenance functional & performance testing training project closeout and warranty transition
• Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment within the allotted time and in a professional manner
• Get service tickets signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location
• Works with customer to understand equipment issues troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems and arranges necessary parts and service to resolve issues
• Communicate relevant customer comments inquiries questions or concerns to appropriate personnel
• Be available for after-hours field service when needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 3-5 years pump experience
• Experience with rotating equipment repair
• Experience with vibration and alignment tools
• Must have your own hand tools

• Physical Demand:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Working Conditions:Outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat
• Travel:As needed; acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; company vehicle
