Location: Rancho Santa Margarita CA (on site)
Duration: Summer 2026 (812 weeks)

The Hardware Engineering Intern will work alongside the hardware engineering team to assist in hardware validation testing and documentation. This role offers hands-on experience in hardware development and testing within the aerospace and defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Support hardware validation and testing efforts including lab setup and troubleshooting
Write engineering documentation and assist in mapping technical processes
Assist in reviewing schematics circuit designs and test results
Work closely with engineers on ongoing projects and provide technical support as needed
Perform other related tasks within the Hardware Engineering department as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware testing
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes multimeters power supplies) is a plus
Hands-on lab or project experience in hardware validation or prototyping is preferred

Education:
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Preferred: Rising seniors; Rising juniors considered on a case-by-case basis. Previous internship experience preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00
