Care Assistant-Bishop Tyrrell Place

Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent and permanent part time basis our Aged Care Facility at Bishope Tyrell Place - Cundletown. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Actively promote Anglican Cares positive culture through interactions with residents staff and their families
• Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
• Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
• Abide by Aged Care Standards
• Work as an effective team member

About you

• Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
