Compliance Coordinator

The opportunity

Downers Energy and Utilities business is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support our New Zealand Telecommunications operations based in Auckland. Reporting to the Contract Manager this role is responsible for coordinating subcontractor compliance onboarding and workforce records to ensure all internal client and legislative requirements are met.

This role suits someone highly organised detail focused and confident working with field teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for

You will bring strong compliance or administration experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency.

Key requirements include

Experience in compliance administration workforce coordination or similar roles
Exposure to utilities telecommunications or construction environments preferred
Experience managing subcontractor onboarding and offboarding
Strong Excel skills and experience maintaining compliance records and reports
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
Proactive approach with a focus on process improvement

Workplace assessor certification is desirable but not essential.
