One of Rockinghams largest employers the City is seeking HRprofessionals who will be part of the passionate professional (andfun) team.

The team is responsible for:

  • delivering an ambitious People Plan which focuses on creating an environment which enables its employees to thrive and grow both professionally and personally in order to achieve high performance in their role
  • supporting and enhancing the end-to-end employee experience from attracting our new employees into the organisation to waving them goodbye knowing theyll reflect positively on their employment and become great advocates for the next generation of City employees.
  • supporting the Citys diverse work areas to achieve their workforce goals through policy development and advice.
  • union engagement including industrial bargaining and employee relations including performance grievances and discipline.

These roles offer you the opportunity to be part of a changethat includes improving systems and processes (including ourLearning Management System) developing a City-wide leadershipprogram implementation of a Capability Framework and developmentof a Reward and Recognition program.

We can offer you the opportunity to apply or develop yourknowledge of the legislative and industrial instruments thatunderpin our employment relationships on a daily basis and acrossa diverse workforce. Well even throw in the occasional curlyquestion (weve had lots of them after becoming part of the StateIR system).

You will draw on your knowledge and experience to provideaccurate and timely advice to the organisation ensuring wecontinue to meet compliance and legislative requirements.

Strong experience in HR (either generalist or a specificdiscipline) is essential for this role and experience inrecruitment/talent acquisition will be highly regarded.

A tertiary-level qualification in an HR-related discipline orcurrently studying towards a qualification is highly desirable butnot essential because we know that what you have gained inexperience is equally valuable.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation regulations practices procedures and standards
  • Experience in applying these across a large and diverse workforce
  • Experience in one or more aspects of HR e.g. recruitment and attraction learning and development IR/ER etc.

We are offering a gross salary of$94367-$99929 per annum dependent on skills andexperience. But this job is so much more than the money.
