Job Summary
SummaryProvides music therapy services for assigned patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Essential Functions
Develops implements and evaluates treatment plans.
Treats patient to relieve symptoms and provide psychological psychosocial physical and spiritual comfort.
Compile all assets for music releases - files credits metadata artwork etc.
Facilitate communication among patients and families.
Provides music therapy in-services and training.
Maintain professional documentation including session notes outcome based data and quarterly reports.
Required for All Jobs

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree Music Therapy required or
Masters Degree Music Therapies preferred
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree No
Licenses and Credentials
Music Therapist Board Certified MT-BC preferred
Experience
related experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong organizational skills creative energy and vision.
Knowledge of relevant music therapy treatment strategies and protocols.
Ability to assess patients conditions and request assistance when necessary.
Ability to work independently with only general supervision.
