Job Title: Registered Dietitian (Inpatient Care)
Location: Spokane WA
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (07:00 AM 03:00 PM) 5x8 Hours
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide comprehensive nutrition care for inpatient adult patients within a multi-facility acute care setting. The role involves rotating between units and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments develop care plans and evaluate patient progress for adult inpatients
- Order manage and adjust enteral and parenteral nutrition as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and allied health professionals in patient care planning
- Document all nutrition interventions and assessments accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Maintain a productivity target of 810 patients per day
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care team meetings
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory standards and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) license in the State of Washington (required)
- Minimum 6 months recent inpatient acute care experience (post-internship)
- Hands-on experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
