Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate Manufacturing Engineer Electronics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining manufacturing processes for electronic products. This role involves collaboration with design engineers quality assurance and production teams to ensure that our manufacturing processes are efficient cost-effective and meet the highest quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic products.
- Design and implement production tools fixtures and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Establish and maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge and experience with J-STD-001 standards.
- PCB/PCBA manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of electronic product assembly processes and equipment.
- Proficiency with CAD software and electronics design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in the State of Washington is $73000 - $136000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
