About the Role

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers to support students in Aurora this role youll provide individualized instruction develop IEPs and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. Youll work with a collaborative district and a supportive therapist-run team.

What Youll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects

• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured supportive environment

• Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and families

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

• Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning

What Were Looking For

• Valid ColoradoDepartment of Education (CDE) license with Special Education endorsement

• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

• School-based experience preferred not required
