The Software Engineering team inAgoura Hills CAis looking fora seniorEmbeddedSoftware Engineer withpassionfor learning developing high quality software solving complexproblemsand becoming part of a smart and innovative you able to balance a variety of tasksrelatedsoftware system design development testing troubleshooting and maintenance Interact with multi-functional teams from the product definition stage through product release Thenyoureexactly whowerelooking for!This role has some hybrid flexibility however the candidate must be able to work on-site at theAgoura Hillsoffice.

• Architecture design implementation verification and lab validation of Linux BSP anduserspacetools for automated test equipment.

• Collaboratewith Hardware Software and Systems engineering torefine requirements andprovide interfaces to complex hardware systems.

• Implement scalable high-performance high-quality extensible and maintainable code.

• Builddeployment and test automation of the systemsyoullcreate and improve.

• Debug complex system-levelissues involving software hardware and OS interactions

• 10 years of experiencedeveloping software
• Experience with Embedded Linux BSP development (Devicetrees u-boot configurationbios configurationbuilding and deploying Linux on embedded systems)
• Experience with Linux driversand bootloader
• Application development in Linux environments.
• Languages:Expertisein C Ccodingand several scripting languages (Python bash )required. Operating Systems: Linux
• Development Tools: GITCmakeYocto Docker
• Hardware protocols: Familiarity with common hardware protocols such as; I2C SPI PCIe Ethernet USB...
• Excellent troubleshooting debugging especially debugging remote systems with multiple devices in the loop andproblem solvingskills.
• Comfortable and familiar with peer reviewed software developmentprocess.
• Comfortable working withopen sourcecommunities (Linux kernelubootetc)
• Familiaritywithx8664 ARM64 and PowerPC processors and high-end x8664 servers
• Experience working in cross-functional teams designing complex systems
• BSrequired advanced degree in electrical engineering computer engineering computer science or related technical field from a top university or engineering institution
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment is a plus.
• Experience with C# is a plus
• Experience with Windows is a plus

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $161700 - $ range is a good faith estimate and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
