Drive strategic sourcing excellence by leading data-driven procurement initiatives optimizing total cost of ownership and strengthening supplier partnerships to support innovation and operational performance.
Your role:
- You will develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction goals site objectives and global sourcing strategies leveraging market intelligence and advanced sourcing methodologies to optimize total landed cost.
- You will cultivate and manage strategic supplier relationships leading collaborative initiatives such as cost reduction programs while proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks through structured risk assessment approaches.
- You will lead complex procurement and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects partnering cross-functionally with engineering quality and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time on-budget and high-quality delivery of materials and services.
- You will oversee site-specific procurement processes ensuring compliance with internal data governance regulatory requirements (e.g. Incoterms export controls) and continuous improvement of procurement workflows to drive efficiency and cycle time reduction.
- You will establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including cost savings supplier performance and procurement cycle time while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across procurement activities.
Youre the right fit if:
- Youve acquired experience in procurement supply chain operations or engineering environments with exposure to strategic sourcing supplier management or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Your skills include data-driven decision-making cost optimization (TCO TLC) supplier relationship management project management and familiarity with methodologies such as Value Engineering (VE) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Industrial Electrical Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- Youre a collaborative results-driven professional with strong communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment in a complex global environment
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an office role.

The pay range for this position in Nashville TN is $94000 to $150000
The pay range for this position in Cambridge MA is $105000 to $168000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.
In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
