The projected compensation range for this position is $175K - $215K. Description
Software Engineer Level 1 is a junior-level role responsible for developing testing and maintaining software applications and systems. Candidates typically have some professional experience and a solid foundation in programming debugging and software development practices. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while contributing to the delivery of reliable mission-focused solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments
- Proficiency coding in Python C Java or JavaScript
- Experience with the following: Git GitLab IDEs (e.g. VSCode Eclipseetc)
- Agile framework experience (Scrum etc.)
Desired Skills
- Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
- Experience with geospatial processing
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
- Experience with GitLab GitHub or similar version control tools
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- BS Degree 7 years experience
