Were looking for a passionate and curious Senior Scientist to join our team. You will be working closely with other members of the team managingbothclientand R&D projects ensuring these are performed to a high standard and within additionutilizingexcellent communication organizational and technical skills you will support the training and development of staff improving the teams knowledge and processes.

What Youll Do:

• Design and perform novel Tox assays including high throughput screening and high content imaging (cell-based assays).

• Conduct in vitro Tox assays manually or using automated liquid handling system for completion in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects to meet the timelines.

• Activelyparticipatein scientific discussion to resolve arising issues as well as criticallyanalyseand interpret the data to design next steps.

• Work closely with project managers and senior management to complete the assigned work in theanticipatedtime frame.

• Keep up to date with scientific literature advances developments and regulatory guidelinesin the area ofTox and inform the team of relevant developments.

• Providepractical scientific guidance to others collaborating across functions to meet project goals and regularly presenting findings.

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects/activities within the group with a results-driven approach.

• Proactively take the initiative to improve group processes and make efficiency gains in assays.

• Encourage a continuous improvement culture and to manage projects to completion.

• Participate in internal and external partner meetings as and whenrequired.

• Ensureappropriate Healthand Safety procedures arealways followed in the workplace.

• Participatein allmandatorytrainingrequiredto performeffectivelyin job role.

• Ensure that yourpersonaltraining record is up to date and thatany gaps are discussed with your supervisor.

• ActivelyparticipateinEvotalksand agree on personal targets and expectations with supervisor.

Who You Are:

• PhD in biology chemistry Toxicology pharmaceutical sciences or an equivalent combination of education training and experience from which comparable knowledge skills and abilities have been attained.

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that enable the candidate to function effectively on a collaborative multi-disciplinary work team.

• Very strong organization skills and attention to detail will be essential especially for performing the in-vitro assays for this job.

• Detailed knowledge of in vitro Toxicology

• Troubleshooting skills in assays and instrumentation

• Experience locating and applying information in the scientific literature

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $80750 to $109250. This is a salary exempt role. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
