Selux is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Highland NY. This position is responsible for maintaining production equipment troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
We are looking for a reliable hands-on technician with experience in industrial manufacturing or facilities maintenance who is comfortable working with electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years experience in manufacturing / industrial / building maintenance
- Experience with basic electrical and pneumatic control circuits
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred
- Able to operate powered vehicle equipment including forklifts platform lifts and Boom Lifts
- Familiarity with basic construction trades (framing plumbing electrical wiring sheet rocking painting etc.)
- Awareness of environmental rules and regulations helpful
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Standing walking and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Must be tolerant of working at heights (up to 30 ft.)
- Valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- Complete Maintenance Work Requests as well as Preventative Maintenance assignments that require electrical mechanical plumbing and carpentry skills.
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
- Assist with installation and startup of new equipment
- Respond to production breakdowns and urgent repair needs
- Operatre forklifts lifts and other powered equipment as needed
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures
- Work overtime when required
