Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our this role you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a plant environment.

Pay Range: $24.17 - $35.46 per hour depending on experience.

What you will be doing: (2nd Shift)

• Consistently achieving results while repairing leaks inspecting and disposing of defective cylinders and painting cylinders
• Knowing the most effective and efficient processes of testing repairing converting cylinders receiving new cylinders and supplies with a focus on continuous improvement
• Operate a forklift to move product throughout facility
• General cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

What you will be doing:

What makes you great:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred
• Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks
• Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers and maintain certification requirements
• Ensures accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
• Must be able to push pull move and/or lift 40-70 poundsoccasionally
• Willingness to work overtime
• Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
