About the role
A General Assistant - Toolstoreperson is responsible for providing high level customer service to enhance the effective and efficient delivery of frontline class support. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience general administration work purchasing and organising tools equipment and materials for students and staff.
This position will carry out manual handling activities.
About you
- You are a self-starter who is willing to be hands-on to support learning outcomes and delivery in the classroom.
- You hold strong WHS ethics and have a willingness to learn skills associated with the role.
- Having demonstrated experience working within a trade environment using a range of hand and power tools and able to conduct minor repairs and maintenance would be an advantage.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment.
- Demonstrated experience in use of hand and power tools and tool maintenance in a trade environment.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment a Forklift Licence
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.
