About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join a growing industrial technology organization.. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of critical materials.

This position will focus on sourcing and purchasing a variety of materials including electronic components machined parts metal fabrications and MRO supplies while supporting a Just-In-Time (JIT) production environment.

What Youll Do

• Source and purchase materials including electronic components MRO items machined parts and fabricated metal components
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and performance
• Negotiate pricing delivery schedules and terms to optimize cost quality and lead times
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to meet production timelines and prevent delays
• Partner with inventory and production teams to align material flow with JIT requirements
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor data within ERP systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues including shortages delays and quality concerns
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering planning quality and production teams

What Were Looking For

• 2 years of experience in a Buyer or procurement role within a manufacturing environment

• Experience purchasing electronic components (strongly preferred)

• Background in industrial equipment or manufacturing settings

• Strong negotiation communication and problem-solving skills

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics BC or similar preferred)
• Familiarity with machining metal fabrication and MRO purchasing is a plus

• Self-starter with strong accountability and follow-through
