Senior I&E Technician supporting a pilot plant environment responsible for maintaining and repairing instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Role Summary
This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting equipment issues and handling unscheduled repairs. Youll work with electrical systems (480V and below) plant instrumentation and diagnostic tools to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on electrical systems and instrumentation
Calibrate instruments test interlocks and troubleshoot loops
Diagnose and resolve electrical and equipment issues
Read and interpret technical drawings and plant documentation
Install conduit cables and related components
Identify root causes of equipment failures
Support maintenance planning and material procurement
Maintain accurate records procedures and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Required Qualifications
High school diploma (technical certification preferred)
7 years of I&E experience in industrial or chemical plant settings
PLC experience (preferably Allen-Bradley systems)
Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Ability to work on-call including weekends or holidays
Core Skills

Problem-solving and organizational abilities
Effective communication and teamwork
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow technically
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift to 5060 lbs
Comfortable with standing walking climbing and confined spaces
