Job Summary

Our clients market-leading Agency Finance practice focuses on complex cross-border financing transactions within emerging markets globally. This group is at the forefront of essential infrastructure projects in Latin America Central and South Asia Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.

As an Associate you will advise development finance institutions multilateral agencies and regional development banks. Your work will span a diverse array of sectors including renewable energy financial services telecommunications and transportation. You will handle a high-sophistication portfolio involving project finance corporate lending loan participations and political risk insurance.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Current Associate (Class Years ) with a background in project finance structured finance or corporate finance from a leading domestic or international law firm.
  • Sector Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with energy/infrastructure projects and a familiarity with the mechanics of development finance institutions (DFIs).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish Portuguese and/or French is highly preferred due to the nature of the cross-border transactions.
  • Soft Skills: Action-oriented mindset with the desire to take on significant deal responsibility early in your career.
  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the State Bar of New York or District of Columbia (or eligible to waive in).
