What Youll Do
As a member of the Finance Practice Group you will work on complex fast-paced transactions alongside a diverse group of smart collaborative colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing banks private credit and institutional lenders in secured loan transactions.
- Managing component parts of financing transactions including structuring documentation and closing for domestic and cross-border deals.
- Collaborating across Tax Regulatory IP and M&A teams to execute multi-faceted financing strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 35 years of law firm experience focused on leveraged lending commercial lending or private credit finance.
- Expertise: Proven track record with senior secured mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions. (Asset-backed warehouse or royalties financing is a plus!)
- Education: Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to waive in.
- Soft Skills: A proactive work ethic forward-thinking problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex legal matters concisely.
