Pay: $185000.00 - $240000.00 per year

Location: Detroit Michigan. Hybrid schedule offering a strong mix of in-office collaboration and flexibility.

Note: Must be licensed to immediately practice law in Michigan and have 3 years of litigation experience. Labor and employment law experience is preferred.

Job Description

• Handle a variety of labor and employment litigation matters for management-side clients
• Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery and other key litigation documents
• Support case strategy legal research factual development and day-to-day matter management
• Participate in depositions hearings mediations and other litigation-related proceedings
• Work closely with clients to provide thoughtful business-focused legal guidance
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex workplace disputes and risk-sensitive employment issues
• Manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities in a fast-paced team-oriented practice

Qualifications

• 3 years of litigation experience
• Active Michigan bar admission required
• Labor and employment law experience preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal writing research and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
