Pay: $120000.00 - $165000.00 per year

Location: This is a primarily on-site opportunity based in Framingham Massachusetts which offers strong day-to-day collaboration mentorship and face time as you ramp up in the practice with more flexibility possible over time.

Note: Must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing and have at least 3 years of Massachusetts family law experience. We are seeking someone who can step in and handle files with limited to moderate supervision.

Job Description

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce custody parenting time child support alimony modifications contempt actions paternity and related Probate & Family Court proceedings
• Manage a caseload with increasing independence
• Draft pleadings motions discovery agreements and legal correspondence
• Prepare for and attend hearings conferences mediations conciliations and trials
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed
• Negotiate settlements and help clients evaluate practical legal options
• Communicate with clients in a compassionate responsive and professional manner
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy and case progression

Qualifications

• JD required
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
• 3 years of Massachusetts family law experience
• Strong litigation drafting negotiation and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases with limited to moderate supervision
• Client-focused professional and empathetic approach
• More senior candidates will be considered
