Job Description
Represent clients in workers compensation industrial insurance OSHA subrogation subsequent injury and related matters
Appear in court at hearings and before administrative or government agencies
Draft pleadings motions legal correspondence and other case-related documents
Conduct legal research and analyze statutes regulations and case law
Develop case strategy with senior attorneys and help drive files forward efficiently
Maintain organized up-to-date case files using case management software
Communicate with clients clearly and build strong long-term relationships
Manage deadlines billing expectations and multiple active matters in a fast-paced practice
Qualifications
J.D. and active Nevada Bar license in good standing
0 to 4 years of attorney experience is ideal
Strong writing research analytical and communication skills
Detail-oriented dependable and able to manage competing deadlines
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Litigation workers compensation insurance defense or administrative law exposure is a plus
Experience with legal billing and case management software is helpful
