Location: This is a full-time fully on-site opportunity in Roseland New Jersey designed for attorneys who want the benefit of daily in-person collaboration mentorship and professional development.

Note: Must be admitted in New Jersey and have solid civil litigation experience in NJ including familiarity with court rules procedures and the general litigation process.

Job Description

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings motions briefs and other litigation documents
• Manage written discovery document review and case strategy support
• Prepare for and attend depositions court appearances and hearings
• Assist with trial preparation and overall litigation support
• Conduct legal research and write clearly and persuasively
• Communicate with clients opposing counsel and the court in a professional manner
• Manage deadlines priorities and multiple active matters effectively
• Work closely with senior attorneys while also taking ownership of substantive assignments

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• 2 years of directly relevant civil litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of NJ litigation process procedures and rules
• Experience with discovery and motion practice
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
• Organized responsive and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Motivated to grow in an in-office team-oriented environment
