Job Description
Manage commercial plumbing construction projects from bid through completion
Oversee design-build plan/spec and design-assist work
Perform plumbing system calculations pipe sizing and equipment selection
Coordinate plumbing layouts systems and equipment with internal and external stakeholders
Manage schedules deliverables and project timelines
Work closely with engineers architects general contractors owners consultants and MEP partners
Support and guide junior technical staff
Resolve field issues with project teams and field personnel
Compile and manage submittals vendor coordination pricing and delivery schedules
Handle buyout and procurement of equipment and finishes
Oversee project financials cost control and overall profitability
Negotiate and manage subcontractors
Build and maintain strong client relationships that can lead to future work
Lead project closeout and ensure a smooth handoff
Qualifications
2 years of directly relevant commercial plumbing construction experience
Project management experience in the construction field is required
Experience with estimating and design in plumbing construction
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and coordination
Strong understanding of applicable codes and construction processes
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Mechanical or Civil Engineering background preferred
EIT or PE preferred not required
LEED experience or accreditation is a plus
Revit and BIM experience are a plus
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills
