Pay: $150000.00 - $250000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid role based in Garner North Carolina serving clients throughout Wake Johnston and Harnett Counties.

Note: Must be licensed in North Carolina and have 3 years of family law experience. The firm does not want to pay a search fee for attorneys with under 3 years of experience.

Job Description

• Represent clients in a broad range of family law matters including divorce child custody child support domestic violence guardianship and related disputes
• Manage cases from initial strategy through negotiation court appearances and resolution
• Advocate effectively in hearings mediations and other contested family law proceedings
• Draft pleadings motions correspondence agreements and other legal documents with strong attention to detail
• Provide clear proactive communication so clients feel informed supported and confident throughout the process
• Develop legal strategy tailored to each clients goals family dynamics and long-term interests
• Collaborate with the broader team to deliver an excellent client experience and strong case outcomes
• Build trust with clients during emotionally charged situations through professionalism empathy and responsiveness

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina law license
• 3 years of family law experience
• Strong courtroom case management and client communication skills
• Ability to handle family law matters with sound judgment and empathy
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills
• Comfortable managing a meaningful caseload and working independently
