Job Description

• Defend clients in complex insurance defense litigation matters
• Handle cases involving catastrophic injury wrongful death transportation construction premises liability and product defects
• Draft pleadings motions legal memoranda and discovery
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediations hearings and other litigation proceedings
• Manage active files deadlines and client communications in a fast-paced practice
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on litigation strategy evaluation and resolution
• Support trial preparation and overall case development from inception through resolution

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
• 3 years of insurance defense or related civil litigation experience
• Experience handling litigation matters involving bodily injury wrongful death transportation construction premises liability or product liability is strongly preferred
• Strong writing research and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with solid judgment and attention to detail
