Location: Denver CO (Hybrid: 1 day work-from-home per week; otherwise in-office)
Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar currently live in Colorado and have 2 years of civil litigation experience (construction defect experience is a plus but interest in practicing construction defect law is required).

Job Description
- Manage civil defense matters from early case assessment through resolution including construction defect litigation
- Draft and argue motions (including dispositive motions) pleadings and key case strategy documents
- Handle written discovery: propound respond meet-and-confer and motion practice when needed
- Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and work with experts
- Appear at hearings and actively support trial preparation (trial participation encouraged as experience allows)
- Communicate professionally with clients carriers opposing counsel and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2 years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense strongly preferred)
- Active Colorado Bar license and in good standing
- Currently living in Colorado
- Solid working knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
- Strong legal writing research and analytical skills
- Construction defect litigation experience preferred; judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Genuine interest in practicing construction defect law (required)
