Job Description

Were seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team and support a busy high-quality coverage practice. Youll work on first-party coverage disputes and related matters including declaratory judgment actions and coverage analysis with opportunities to take meaningful ownership while working closely with experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage litigation matters in Georgia state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings motions legal memoranda and discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions; support witness preparation
• Participate in mediations and support settlement strategy/negotiations
• Perform legal research and provide strategic legal analysis
• Assist with coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions
• Manage multiple active files deadlines and client communications in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while taking ownership of assigned matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing
• 2 years of attorney experience strongly preferred
• Some insurance coverage experience (coverage analysis coverage disputes DJ actions coverage opinions bad faith exposure or related work)
• Strong writing research and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent organization judgment and ability to manage deadlines independently
