Your Role
As a Physical Therapist at Bear Creek Senior Living youll be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. Your duties will include:
- Providing direct patient care evaluating functional needs and outcomes and consulting with other specialists
- Reviewing patients functional needs and adjusting care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Designing and implementing individualized plans of care based on thorough assessments of potential development incorporating participation by significant others whenever appropriate
- Conducting therapy practice within defined standards of care
- Directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients functional goals
- Communicating effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Practicing facility and departmental policies and procedures including quality improvement safety environmental and infection control standards
- Documenting evaluations treatment goals and plans; regularly updating documentation and maintaining prescriptions and signatures
- Enhancing professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs in-service meetings and workshops
Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
- Current Physical Therapist license from the state of Colorado Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services
- At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the expected compensation range for this position is $40.00$45.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience education and other relevant factors.
