Our Northeast Division is seeking a dynamic Environmental Field Scientist to join our Quincy MA Providence RI or Woburn MA office. Youll be joininga well-respected and award-winning group where career development training and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil environmental water resources and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment

Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Field Scientist:

• Collectfieldsamples of soil soil vaporgroundwater surface water and drinking water.
• Provide oversight ofsite investigation and characterization as well ascontaminated site remediation.
• Prepare field notesphotographs and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data.
• Prepare technical reports and conduct ASTM Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments.
• Support emergency response services communicate and collaborate with others manage workloads and records implement health & safety policies and travel extensively.

What were looking for:

• BA/BS in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Valid drivers license acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and other commonly used computer applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a strong safety record.
• 13 years of relevant experience in a similar environmental or fieldbased role is preferred.
• Previous Massachusetts MCP experience preferred.
• 40hour HAZWOPER certification preferred; familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations a plus.
• Experience with Deltek Vision preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical writing ability with strong attention to detail.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Work may take place in office field and outdoor environments including active job sites.
• Exposure to varied weather conditions during field assignments.
• Ability to navigate job sites including walking standing and ascending or descending stairs and ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally.
• Availability for night and weekend work(infrequent)
