DIRECTOR OF CONTRACTING - HYBRID

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary:$110000 $117000 (commensurate with experience)
- Time Off:Generous PTO/PST (4 weeks per year) plus 11 paid holidays.

What Youll Do
- Lead Negotiations:Serve as the primary lead for Arizona healthcare payer contracts vendor services construction projects and insurance brokers.
- Build Systems:Establish and manage a centralized enterprise-wide contract repository and tracking system for renewals and expirations.
- Strategic Partnership:Collaborate with Finance on cost modeling and rate analysis and partner with Legal to refine contract language.
- Mentor:Select train and coach a dedicated team to maintain high performance and quality.
- Ensure Compliance:Maintain alignment with AHCCCS CMS and other regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
- Experience:5 years in contract negotiations and management (Healthcare background highly preferred).
- Expertise:Deep understanding ofAHCCCS commercial plans and reimbursement methodologies.
- Skillset:Exceptional analytical skills financial acumen and the ability to interpret complex legal language.
- Leadership:A collaborative style with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects at once.
- Requirements:Must have a valid AZ Drivers License and be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred or 5 years of experience equivalent experience considered
- 5 years of experience in contract negotiations and contract management.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of payor structures (AHCCCS commercial plans) reimbursement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Experience negotiating vendor construction facilities and insurance/broker contracts.
- Exceptional organizational and contract lifecycle management skills.
- Ability to interpret and refine legal contract language.
- Strong financial acumen analytical ability and forecasting skills.
- Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Experience implementing contract management systems preferred.
- Must meet standard driving and fingerprint clearance card requirements.
- Must have a valid Arizona drivers license be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Healths driving policy.
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
- Must pass a TB test and drug screen
