PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team at in Yakima WA

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday hours vary between 8:00am - 8:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens paternity tests alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Valid Drivers License
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client this role you will provide exceptional customer service perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the addition you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range: $17.75-$27.41

Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Benefits:Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical Dental Vision Life STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
