Position Overview
Were looking for a Lead Installation Technician to oversee the installation of car wash equipment at new builds remodels and equipment upgrade projects across our growing portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work leading crews in the field and solving problems in real time. Youll work closely with construction teams vendors and operations partners to ensure installations are completed safely efficiently and to company standards.

What Youll Do

• Lead on-site installation of car wash equipment for new construction remodels and upgrades
• Supervise installation crews contractors and vendors on active job sites
• Interpret blueprints schematics and technical plans to guide installations
• Perform and oversee mechanical and electrical installation work
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory requirements are followed on all projects
• Coordinate with Construction Operations and vendors to keep projects on schedule
• Conduct equipment testing commissioning and startup support
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve technical challenges in real time
• Maintain installation documentation and project records
• Support training and mentoring of junior technicians

Experience

• 35 years of experience in equipment installation construction or industrial mechanical work
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading blueprints schematics and technical manuals
• Ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple workstreams on job sites
• Welding rigging and material handling experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to safety

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Construction)
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety
• Forklift or Aerial Lift (MEWP) certification
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Work Environment & Travel

This is a field-based role primarily working on active construction sites and operational facilities and requires:

• Frequent travel to project sites across the country
• Project assignments lasting 34 weeks at a time followed by time at home between projects
• Work performed outdoors and around construction equipment water systems and mechanical infrastructure

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing walking bending and kneeling
• Lifting and moving equipment up to 50 pounds
• Working at heights climbing ladders and operating hand and power tools
