A Casual opportunity has become available for an experienced Bus driver to join our VLine roster working out of Leongatha. If you enjoy variety meeting new people and taking pride in your work this could be the next move in your driving career.

In this role youll:

To pick up and set down passengers as per VLine route within the specific time schedules set out on the current running boards supplied working to the new roster and timetables and fare schedules

• Provide commentary (use of microphone) to announce arrival and departure times at stops
• VLine ticketing
• Report any defects to the maintenance area as per current procedure
• Cleaning of buses
• Ensure all work instructions are carried out as directed in line with company polices and practices
• Effectively communicate with other team members
• Report any issues of a serious nature or non-conformances of any kind to the depot Manager
• Other driving or yard duties as directed by the depot Manager

What Youll Bring

Youll already have:

• MR licence or higher with a strong safety record
• Driver Accreditation (DC)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Working With Children Check (Employee category)
• Ability to complete a company medical assessment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
