Your opportunity.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Maintainerto join our Regional Assets North Wayside Systems team based at ourCairnsdepot.
As aSystems Maintainer youll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of Queensland Rails mechanical signalling equipment. Based within a skilled multidisciplinary signalling team youll support a broad region stretching from Cairns and Kuranda and as far south as Townsville to St Lawrence.
To be considered you must hold a Certificate III in Mechanical Rail Signalling and a current drivers licence.
Purpose that Counts.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for:
- Installing maintaining and repairing mechanical signalling equipment
- Assisting with maintenance and repair of standby generator plants
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with WH&S standards
- Accurately completing administrative and record-keeping tasks
- Contributing to the improvement of existing work procedures and practices
- Reporting on completed tasks against scheduled maintenance plans
